A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

So Far, So High is a game created for Jame Gam.

The main task of the game is to get out of a deep hole by jumping on platforms and being careful of various enemies. On each floor there is a different number of chests, when opening which we can drop power ups and weapons. With each floor, the pit becomes deeper, and the enemies become more resistant. Good luck, you'll need it.

How to play?

  • The A and D buttons are used for movement, and Space is used for jumping. At the beginning, the first chest is always waiting for us, which we can open by pressing the F button. An object falls out of it, which we can also pick up on F.
  • On the Tab button, you can open the info panel, where we can see our health, points, stats, as well as weapons.
  • Switching between a weapon and a shovel occurs by pressing buttons 1 and 2. The shovel is needed to dig up a more convenient path for us, and we can also use it as a melee weapon with the left mouse button.
  • The weapon aims at the cursor, the shot is fired on the left mouse button.
  • There is also a dash towards the cursor, which is done by clicking on the right mouse button.
  • There is a door or doors on top of each floor, if you're lucky. The top one always sends to the next level, and the additional ones - as you are lucky. We can also enter the door with the F button
  • There is an ending that opens after passing 7 floors in Story Mode and which opens access to Free Mode

I leave everything else to you to research.

The randomness makes this surprisingly fun, despite the difficulty! Very impressive. I really like how the shovel and dash allow you to take the random layouts however you want.

I got a high score of 4000
